Enlargement of EU Sparks Agricultural Policy Reform for Economic Integration.
The article examines how the 2004 enlargement of the European Union impacted the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). It predicts how the reform of this policy has been influenced by the new Member States. The EU aimed to integrate nations with different economies successfully. The paper analyzes the enlargement process, evaluates the CAP reforms made for enlargement, and discusses potential political issues between Member States and new members.
