Market Value Added Boosts Share Prices, Cash Value Added Drags
The study looked at how the financial performance of retail trading companies in Indonesia affects their share prices. They used measures like Economic Value Added, Market Value Added, and Cash Value Added to see if these factors influenced the share prices of 17 selected companies. The results showed that Market Value Added had a positive impact on share prices, while Cash Value Added had a negative impact. Economic Value Added did not have a significant effect. Overall, these financial performance indicators together had a significant influence on share prices.
