Zooplankton Diversity in Indian Lakes Indicates Low Pollution Levels
The researchers studied zooplankton in three lakes near Husnabad, India for a year. They found 15 different types of zooplankton, with the most belonging to the Rotifera group. The lakes were least polluted during the study, supporting a diverse range of zooplankton. Summer had the most species, while the northeast monsoon season had the fewest.
