The article discusses a new method for analyzing steel frames that considers various types of buckling. The traditional method is not always accurate for certain structures, so a more advanced analysis was developed. This advanced analysis was applied to different types of steel buildings and compared to the traditional method. It was found that the traditional method may not accurately model the behavior of certain types of columns, while the advanced analysis provides a more complete design tool for steel frames.
