Optimizing phosphorus and molybdenum levels boosts mustard yield and profits.
The study looked at how different levels of phosphorus and molybdenum affect the growth and yield of mustard plants. They tested different amounts of these nutrients in the soil and as foliar applications. The results showed that the treatment with 60 kg/ha of phosphorus, 2 kg/ha of molybdenum, and 5ppm foliar application had the highest seed yield and oil content. This treatment also resulted in the highest gross return, net return, and benefit-cost ratio.
