Information Studies Graduates in Kuwait Struggle with Information Overload and Privacy Issues
The study looked at how graduates from Kuwait University manage their personal information. They interviewed 26 graduates working in different fields. The graduates gathered information from various sources and stored it on devices like computers and in the cloud. They organized information into folders based on topics and used keywords to find it later. Some reported feeling overwhelmed by too much information. Many used tools like calendars and social media to help manage their information. The Internet was helpful, but some had concerns about privacy. The findings will be used to create guidelines for improving personal information management practices.
