Decision Tree Outperforms Naive Bayes in Liver Cancer Classification Accuracy
The study compared Naive Bayes and Decision Tree methods to classify Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC) patients. HCC is a common type of liver cancer that often shows no symptoms until it's advanced. The researchers used a dataset from a hospital in Indonesia to classify HCC patients. The results showed that Decision Tree had a higher accuracy of 100% compared to Naive Bayes at 98.25%. This means that Decision Tree is better at accurately classifying HCC patients.
