Knowledge management is important for projects and organizations to succeed in a competitive environment. The study looked at how knowledge management affects project performance by reviewing existing literature. They found that acquiring experts' knowledge and documenting project information are key strategies. Both types of knowledge, tacit (personal insights) and explicit (written information), are linked to project efficiency and success. Despite recognizing its importance, organizations struggle to implement knowledge management effectively. The research shows that there is still much to learn about how knowledge management impacts project success.
