Optimizing Nitrogen and Boron Levels Boosts Mustard Yield and Profit.
A study on mustard plants looked at how different levels of nitrogen and boron affected their growth and yield. They tested 10 treatments with varying amounts of nitrogen and boron, finding that using 80 Kg/ha of nitrogen along with 2% boron spray resulted in the tallest plants, most branches, highest dry weight, fastest growth rate, most siliqua and seeds per plant, and best test weight. This treatment also gave the highest gross and net returns, with a benefit-cost ratio of 1.81.
