The study looked at how people's perception of tourist attractions shown on travel TV shows affects their desire to communicate about them and their intention to buy travel products. They surveyed 290 people and found that liking a tourist attraction from a TV show made people want to talk about it more. This desire to communicate also made people more likely to buy travel products related to the attraction. Overall, enjoying a tourist spot on TV can make people want to visit it and buy things related to it, thanks to the emotional connection created by the show.
