A study on brinjal genotypes found that traits like plant height, fruit size, and vitamin C levels are important for selecting high-yielding plants. Genotypic correlations were stronger than phenotypic ones, suggesting that genetics play a big role in these traits. Path analysis showed that fruit length, vitamin C, and other specific traits have a direct positive impact on total fruit yield in brinjal plants. These findings can help improve brinjal yield through targeted breeding programs.
