Interconnected Food, Energy, and Water Crises Threaten Africa's Future
The food-energy-water security nexus (FEW nexus) is important for understanding how food, energy, and water are connected in places like Malawi and Mozambique in Africa. Few interventions are using this approach there. Economic models can help policymakers see how actions in one area affect the others. However, it's challenging to collect enough data for this type of research. By asking key questions and making informed policies, we can make better use of food, energy, and water investments for everyone's benefit.
