The study compared two methods of composting green waste and food waste with added sawdust and phosphate rock. One method was traditional composting, and the other was two-stage composting. The traditional method broke down organic matter faster and maintained high temperatures longer. However, both methods produced similar end-products in terms of quality. The researchers suggest that more strategies are needed to improve green waste composting further.
