The article examines how companies in the Czech and Slovak Republics engage in charitable activities. They looked at different ways companies support causes, like sponsoring events or giving donations. The study found that foreign companies don't necessarily give more than local ones, but they often donate to increase profits. In the Czech Republic, companies give more than in Slovakia, where big international companies play a bigger role. Even after changes in tax laws, giving in Slovakia didn't decrease significantly.
