The article evaluates how well urban public transportation infrastructure in four Chinese cities is benefiting the economy, society, and environment. The study found that these cities are not fully utilizing their transportation systems, leading to lower levels of coordinated development among the three benefits. Improving the use of urban public transportation infrastructure is key to promoting better coordination among economic, social, and environmental benefits.
