The article discusses different agricultural policies for Poland to improve efficiency and adapt to the changing market and EU membership. Price supports may not be the best option, as they are costly and may not help farmers in the long run. Instead, policies focusing on increasing efficiency and reducing farm employment could be more beneficial. The goal is to integrate Polish agriculture with the EU by 2005-10.
