Gender and Context Influence Risky Decision Making: Implications for Target Populations.
The study looked at how different types of decisions and the gender of the decision maker affect how decisions are made. Male and female students were asked to make choices in various areas of life and to say how they would make those decisions. The results showed that the type of decision and the gender of the decision maker influenced how risky the decisions were perceived to be and how they were made. This information can help improve decision-making tools and educational programs to help people make better choices.
