The Clean Development Mechanism aims to distribute climate projects more fairly among developing countries. Currently, most projects are concentrated in a few larger nations, leaving many others out. Different countries have varying abilities to implement these projects. Investors tend to support the same countries, creating an imbalance. By setting criteria for all developing nations, we can ensure a more equal distribution of projects without changing the CDM framework.
