The article explores why some officials in the Council of the European Union support European integration more than others. By focusing on the attitudes of these officials, the study found that their experiences at both domestic and transnational levels influence their views on supranationalism. This suggests that personal interactions and backgrounds play a significant role in shaping attitudes towards European integration within the Council.
