The article analyzes trade policies of developing countries and recommends positions for the new round of WTO negotiations. Key findings include: 1) Developing countries should support liberalization of agricultural trade policies. 2) Opportunities exist for negotiations on tariffs and nontariff barriers in industrial countries, especially in textiles and clothing. 3) Antidumping measures should be reduced to benefit consumers globally.
