Education Equality Key to Tackling Income Inequality Worldwide
Human capital, like education, plays a big role in income inequality. When education is more evenly spread out, income inequality goes down. Policies that help with social benefits and stable prices can also reduce income inequality. But when countries make more money, trade more internationally, and advance technologically quickly, income inequality tends to go up. In East Asia, income inequality has been rising because fast economic growth and globalization have outweighed the positive effects of more equal education distribution.
