The article investigates if people's satisfaction levels change based on whether they have previously taken part in a survey. Data from three European countries show that there is a negative effect on satisfaction when people have been part of the survey before. This finding could be important for understanding trends in life satisfaction over time and may lead to more research on how survey participation influences economic data.
