Cyber risk is a tricky problem because it's always changing and hard to measure. This study looked at how cyber losses compare to other types of losses. They found that cyber losses have a similar risk profile to other operational losses. This means that techniques used to measure other types of losses could also work for cyber losses. Even though cyber losses have been happening more often and getting worse, their basic risk profile hasn't changed much.
