The article discusses the challenges faced by academic entrepreneurs in Turkey. Universities are now focusing on creating commercial knowledge in addition to education and research. The demand for collaboration between universities and industries is increasing. Academic entrepreneurship involves efforts to commercialize scientific research outputs. The Supreme Council for Science and Technology in Turkey supports academic entrepreneurship. However, academic entrepreneurs face various obstacles. The study aims to identify these problems and suggest solutions.
