The article discusses how countries in the Western Balkans are working to improve their business environment to attract more investors and boost economic growth. By using a tool called the standard cost model, they measured the impact of reforms in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Serbia. The tool helped identify cost savings for businesses, supported policymakers in making targeted reforms, and contributed to a regional monitoring and evaluation framework.
