Global Corporations Controlled by Families and State, Not Shareholders
The study looked at who really owns big companies in 27 rich countries. They found that in most places, families or the government control these firms, not lots of regular people. Banks don't usually have a lot of say in how these companies are run. The people in charge have more power than just the money they put in, often using tricks like pyramids and being part of the management team.
