REDD+ projects in Papua New Guinea aim to help fight climate change by protecting forests. But sometimes, the rights of indigenous people living in these areas are not fully considered. To address this, a rule was made to ensure indigenous communities can participate in REDD+ projects. However, in Papua New Guinea, it's hard to follow this rule due to political and economic pressures.
