Europe's GDP Divide: Economic Growth Clubs Revealed, Impacting Euro Zone
The article analyzes economic growth in European countries to see if they are getting closer or further apart in terms of productivity. The results show that different countries in Europe are growing at different rates and heading towards different economic states. There are two groups of countries within the EU-14 that are converging, regardless of whether they use the euro. Eastern European countries are also split into two groups, with the euro affecting which group they belong to.
