New tool calculates effect size for group differences in research
A tool called esizereg has been developed to calculate the effect size of a treatment on a continuous variable between two groups. It uses the regression coefficient of the treatment variable and the pooled standard deviation within groups. This tool supports various estimation models like regress, tobit, truncreg, hetregress, and xtreg. When weights are used in the model, esizereg can provide a weighted effect size estimate.
