Ambient air conditioning just got a lot more efficient!
The study looked at how different types of refrigeration machines cool ambient air. They tested absorption lithium-bromide, combined absorption-ejector, and electrically driven vapor compression machines. By modeling their performance in real weather conditions, they found that the absorption machine was the most energy-efficient, while the vapor compression machine used the most energy.
