The article analyzes the financial performance of selected Housing Finance companies in India. They used financial ratios to measure performance and studied the impact of different factors on profitability. The analysis showed that overall profitability of these companies has decreased, as seen in the falling trend of return on capital employed. The correlation analysis revealed that interest income and interest expenses have a positive relationship with return on capital employed. The study suggests that Housing Finance companies should expand geographically while maintaining consistent processing and service standards.
