These anti-Americans tend to be younger, less educated, and have different views on politics and where they live. Surprisingly, they want Europe to be less powerful, even though they want it to be more independent. People's attitudes towards the US and the EU can vary a lot within countries, showing that it's not as simple as saying a whole country is anti-American or pro-European.
