Trade liberalization in Brazil has positive effects on the economy and labor market. A model was used to study how opening up trade impacts different sectors and workers. The results show that trade liberalization leads to increased output, lower prices, and more jobs. However, the benefits mainly go to skilled workers in sectors that are heavily involved in trade, rather than benefiting all workers equally.
