The study used a method called Data Envelopment Analysis to measure the performance of different departments at Zaragoza University in Spain. They looked at indicators related to teaching and research to see which departments were most efficient. The results showed which departments were doing well in these activities. The study also found differences in strengths and weaknesses between departments in different areas.
