The Trans-Pacific Partnership aims to create a modern trade agreement among 12 countries. This paper looks at how the TPP will impact trade for these countries and others in Asia. By analyzing existing Free Trade Agreements and trade partners, the study predicts effects like creating new trade opportunities, diverting trade from other countries, and undoing previous trade diversion. The research focuses on TPP members and ASEAN countries, as well as other Asian economies.
