The article discusses ways to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, focusing on how to cut back on gases that harm the environment. Different plans were made to create a market system to help with this issue. In the past few decades, efforts have increased to find cheaper ways to reduce these harmful emissions. The Kyoto Protocol introduced flexible market plans to partially solve the emissions problem. Even though these strategies were in place during 2008-2012, carbon emissions continued to rise. The article looks at projects in Russia that aim to decrease greenhouse gas emissions and their importance to meeting international emission reduction goals.
