Legal Pluralism Shaking Up Legal Theory and Opening New Vistas
Legal pluralism suggests that different types of laws exist in society, not just state law. This idea has gained popularity in academic fields. Recent work in jurisprudence explores this concept further, showing that there are multiple forms of law that need to be considered. The study highlights the confusion surrounding legal pluralism and identifies three main clusters of ideas within this concept.
