The study looked at how sending work to countries with lower wages affects the pay of different types of workers worldwide. They used data from many countries and industries to see how much of the work was being sent overseas. The results showed that offshoring mainly lowers wages for workers with lower to medium skills. However, the impact on wages from sending work to low-wage countries is not very big.
