Boosting Indian Mustard Yield with Nutrient-Enriched Compost Shows Promising Results
The study aimed to improve the growth and yield of Indian mustard in dry regions by adding micro and secondary nutrients to the soil. They tested different levels of farmyard manure (FYM) and nutrient sources on the crop. The results showed that using 10 tons of FYM per hectare along with a specific mix of nutrients significantly increased plant height, branches, chlorophyll content, leaf area, seed yield, stover yield, and oil content of Indian mustard. This approach could help boost the yield of Indian mustard crops.
