Paris housing prices influenced by spatial factors, impacting shadow prices.
The article presents a method to estimate housing prices in Paris using a statistical model that considers spatial factors and panel data. The researchers developed a technique to account for spatial effects and individual differences in housing prices. They tested the method using simulations and applied it to real data from Paris. The results showed that the model provided reasonable estimates for the prices of different types of flats in various districts of the city between 1990 and 2003.
