Pharmaceutical reimbursement reforms in Spain shake up healthcare cost containment.
The article examines how recent changes in pharmaceutical reimbursement policies in Spain from 1996 to 2002 have impacted cost containment. These policies were not well integrated with each other. The study evaluates the effects of these policies on the behavior of those involved in the pharmaceutical market.
