The bidensity Stata module helps create and visualize bivariate density estimates efficiently. It uses different kernel estimators to calculate the densities and can overlay scatterplots on the graphs. Compared to another similar tool, bidensity computes the estimates faster and offers more kernel options. The results can be saved in a Stata dataset or accessed as Mata matrices.
