The study looked at how free-trade agreements, like NAFTA, affect foreign investment in Mexico. They found that these agreements have a big positive impact on investment, especially for smaller countries like Mexico. In fact, NAFTA increased foreign investment in Mexico by almost 60%. This shows that trade agreements can attract more investment to countries that are part of them.
