Gender wage gap in Finnish manufacturing more than doubles in the first ten years of work. The gap is higher when changing jobs compared to staying in the same company. Despite considering various theories, most of the wage gap remains unexplained. Women face a significant penalty in wage growth, especially at the top of the wage distribution.
