Boost rice yield, cut emissions, and enrich soil with organic fertilizer combo!
A 3-year study compared different types of fertilizer on rice crops. Using a mix of organic and chemical fertilizer increased rice yield by 5.6% and 7.2% for early and late rice. Organic fertilizer reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 6.8% and 8.5%. It also improved soil nutrients like organic matter and nitrogen. This shows that using a combination of organic and chemical fertilizer in the early rice season can boost crop yield, enhance soil health, and lower greenhouse gas emissions.
