Choice complexity affects how people value environmental resources in Chile. A study used a model that considers how complex choices are when estimating preferences. By applying this model to a survey on hydroelectric projects, it was found that considering choice complexity leads to higher valuations of environmental resources. This suggests that not accounting for choice complexity in surveys may result in biased results.
