New Study Identifies Most Stable Tomato Genotypes for High Yield Across Environments.
Twelve tomato types were tested over four years in Nigeria to find the best ones for consistent high yield. The study used AMMI and GGE biplot analyses to see how well the tomatoes did in different climates. Results showed that some tomatoes did better in certain years or seasons, but NHSL23 was the most productive overall. NHSL21 was the most stable, while NHSL26 was the most adaptable across all environments. This research helps identify which tomato types are best for growing in different conditions to ensure a good harvest.
