Countries in Southern Africa are looking at how free trade agreements impact their economies. A study used a model to see how trade liberalization affects different sectors and factors in seven countries in the region. They looked at the effects of agreements between South Africa and the EU, as well as potential responses from the rest of Southern Africa. The findings show that different trade agreements can have varying impacts on countries and sectors within the region.
