Chinese Farmers' Cooperatives Revolutionize Agriculture, Empowering Millions.
The Chinese government has been promoting the development of farmer cooperatives to improve economic and social conditions. By supporting these cooperatives, the government aims to create jobs, increase income, reduce poverty, and empower farmers in the market. Since the enactment of the "Law of Farmer Professional Cooperatives" in 2007, the number of cooperatives has grown significantly. However, not all of them are functioning effectively, with only about one third operating properly.
