Sustainable Farming Unlocks Ecological Harmony, Economic Prosperity, and Intergenerational Equity
The article examines sustainability in agriculture, focusing on its ecological, economic, and ethical aspects. It suggests that sustainability boils down to environmental stability, intergenerational fairness, and economic efficiency. Despite the various definitions, these three concepts lie at the core of sustainability. To address this multi-faceted issue effectively, a method called multiple criteria decision making is proposed. This approach considers sustainability indicators carefully to align with the essential elements. Ultimately, the key idea is that sustainability in agriculture revolves around ensuring a stable environment, fairness between generations, and economic effectiveness.
